OCAPEX was founded in 2023 with a simple but resonant idea: music should do more than just sound good; it should make a difference. We started as a small group of young musicians but quickly grew into a mission-driven organization dedicated to serving elderly communities through performance.

From the beginning, we knew that our purpose was beyond playing music. Each performance is an opportunity to interact with individuals through this bridge, bringing joy and genuine connection every time we play. We rehearse together with intention before each concert, not just to refine our music, but to ensure that every performance is meaningful and impactful for the people we serve.

We don’t just perform and leave, but rather we interact with the residents, give them gifts and snacks, and create experiences that resonate beyond the music itself.
